this is drivel before wordpress
I adopted WordPress at the beginning of August, 2009, intending only to experiment with it. All the free blogging software I’d toyed with before that was crap, so my expectations weren’t all that high, which made my pleasant surprise at how much I liked WordPress all that more enjoyable. I’ve been blogging with WordPress ever since.
But I kept the old version of Drivel archived here, and occasionally, randomly post new entries just because I'm geeky enough to like marking up the entries by hand, and because I get the weirdest kind of kinky thrill from posting something I'm pretty sure nobody's going to read. Here it is in all it’s manually marked-up glory, from those first posts I tentatively wrote back in 2004 that have somehow managed to survive.
